MemryX was co-founded in 2019 by Dr. Wei Lu, an IEEE Fellow and Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Michigan since 2005, and a highly influential expert in memory devices, neuromorphic computing and in-memory computing systems.Professor in the EECS department at the University of Michigan since 2005 and an IEEE Fellow. Co-founded MemryX in 2019 and defines the company’s product architecture. Previously co-founded Crossbar Inc, a resistive RRAM technology company.Expertise in accelerator architectures, AI systems and memory-centric computing. Led hardware/software co-design of the MemryX NPU architectures. Widely published, with 17 granted US patents.
